our little home : before & after

I know I should have a really impressive update to make up for my silence this past week...
and oh, do I have one!
In the past week (yes, you heard me), I flew to CA to interview for my new *dream* job (more details later!), look for new places for us to live (well I saw several, but am really just trying to find one),  Dan got an offer for his sweet new job (details, later!), got our house ready to sell, and prepared the listing to go "live" at midnight, tonight!
Yes, I am overflowing with excitement. No, I have not stopped to breathe.
I wish I could just have coffee or cocktails or really, rent out an entire bar with all of you so I could just spill all the juicy details (thank you to the sweet friends who have listened patiently as I've done just that over the past few days), but I have to remind myself to take things one day at a time...
So I thought that this was the perfect time for a fun Before & After tour of our condo, summing up the past four years worth of hard work, paint,  blood, sweat, and tears, and countless trips to Home Depot...
 Come on in!

  2. Holy crap! Wow, you guys did a lot of stuff. I mean, I guess it's not a huge amount, but what you did do really enhanced the house--made it looks richer. Very nice work you guys! It's a shame you have to sell it, but it sounds like something even better is on the horizon? How exciting! Can't wait to read what happens : ]

P.S.--I see that all that work you did on the couch cover was in vain? Haha, I like the red though anyway.

  3. With the interiors of the house exteriors are also to be renovated so that they can compliment each other. The renovation or to bring changes in house are very difficult. It is a very tough task. The pattern of the house shown above is common in areas where there is heavy snowfall. There has to be proper gutter system to prevent roof from water accumulation. There are many companies manufacturing gutters. You can refer this for further information http://www.guttermasters.com.au/gutters
